Danube Tower Tickets
Why Visit Danube Tower?
At 252 meters (826 ft) high, the Danube Tower is a true masterpiece of engineering and a symbol of Vienna's revival after the Second World War. Since its inauguration in 1964, it has become one of the city's most iconic monuments. Did you know that it's also the tallest building in Austria?
To get to the open-air viewing observation deck of the Danube Tower, also known as the Donauturm, you'll take an elevator that rises to 155 meters (508 ft) in just 35 seconds. Amazing, right?
When you reach the top, you'll enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the city's skyline, as well as its historic monuments and the Danube river basin. On clear days, you can even get a privileged view of the Cobenzl Forest and make out the mountains of the Vienna Woods, including the Kahlenberg.
Here, you'll also find Café Burm, a café built and decorated in the style of the 1960s, where you can get yourself a delicious cup of Viennese coffee with traditional Viennese pastries if you wish.
On the covered terrace, you'll find interactive panels that will give you information about Vienna's most significant monuments, offering a deeper appreciation of the beauty and history of the Austrian capital.
