Vienna By Night Sightseeing Tour
Vienna By Night Sightseeing Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet on Opernring, opposite the Vienna State Opera. There, we'll board a coach to set off on a night-time sightseeing tour of the Austrian capital.
We'll drive along the Ringstraße, admiring some of Vienna's most iconic buildings as they are illuminated at nightfall. We’ll pass by the Hofburg Palace, the former imperial residence of the Habsburgs, and continue past the Burgtheater, the Parliament and the City Hall, whose monumental façades take on a special charm under the night-time lighting.
We'll also see the Volksgarten, the Stadtpark and the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK), one of the city's most important cultural venues. The panoramic tour will continue via Schwedenplatz and Schwarzenbergplatz.
As well as that, we'll pass by the famous Prater amusement park. There, we’ll look up to admire the Wiener Riesenrad, Vienna's historic giant Ferris wheel, standing 61 m (200 ft) tall. Did you know it’s one of the oldest Ferris wheels in Europe still in operation?
We'll then cross the River Danube to reach the Vienna International Centre. From the bus, we'll enjoy magnificent views of the city’s modern skyline, the financial district and the Church of St Francis of Assisi, situated on the banks of the Danube.
We'll conclude the sightseeing tour at the starting point after 1 hour.
Itinerary Changes
During the summer months, from June to August, the tour will take place at night since there will still be daylight. You'll still be able to enjoy the wonderful Vienna sunset while riding the bus through the streets of the city.
