Lima is a fascinating city full of secrets just waiting for you to discover, and what better way to explore the Peruvian capital than on a private tour with an English-speaking guide just for you?

Tour Options

When making your reservation, you can choose one of the following options.

Historic Lima Tour

If you choose this option, from your hotel, we'll head to the centre of Lima, specifically to San Martín Square, inaugurated in 1921 to commemorate the centenary of Peru's independence. Surrounded by republican architecture, it's a key point in political and cultural life.

From there, we'll walk along Union Street, an emblematic street that was a symbol of Lima's aristocracy, commerce and colonial-era architecture. We'll arrive at Plaza Mayor, the founding heart of Lima, where we'll enjoy views of Lima Cathedral and the Government Palace, the presidential headquarters.

Then, we'll visit the Convent of San Francisco to learn about its history as a jewel of viceregal Baroque architecture and its fame for the catacombs it houses. We'll end the tour with a stop at the Muralla Park, where the remains of the wall built in the 17th century to protect the city from pirates are preserved.

Finally, we'll make our way back to Miraflores together on public transport.

Modern Lima Tour

In this option, we'll go from the hotel to a local market, where we'll tell you about the typical fruits and vegetables of the country, essential ingredients in Peru's award-winning cuisine.

Then, we'll walk to Kennedy Park in Miraflores. There, we'll tell you about the cultural and daily life of the park, while the cats that live there rest comfortably among the gardens and benches and greet visitors.

The tour continues to Larcomar, a shopping centre offering spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. It's an ideal place for a short break by the sea.

Finally, we'll head to the Bridge of Sighs in Barranco, built in 1876. This wooden bridge is an icon of Lima's romanticism, surrounded by legends, colourful murals and bohemian corners that have inspired artists and lovers.

We'll explore the surrounding area before returning together by public transport to Miraflores.

Tour Options

When booking, in addition to indicating your preferred itinerary from the two described above, you can choose one of the following options, depending on the duration of the tour you prefer and whether you want to do it on foot or panoramically. If you choose the panoramic option, you'll see the monuments from the vehicle, without getting out to walk around the areas you're visiting.
