Albufeira Beginner Scuba Diving
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the dive center in the Albufeira Marina. There, your instructor will give you a short theory lesson and, after filling out a simple form, we’ll grab our gear and head to a confined water area.
Once we arrive at the pool, you’ll learn how to put on your diving equipment and practice a few basic skills to help you feel confident during the open-water dive. You’ll learn how to clear your mask, share air using the alternate regulator, and communicate underwater.
After completing the exercises, we’ll head to the port and board a boat to cruise along the coast until we reach the chosen dive site for the day. Ready? Let’s dive in!
Once we jump into the water, we’ll deflate our vests and start descending to a maximum depth of 12 meters (39 feet). This is the best part! For about 30 minutes, depending on your air consumption, we’ll explore Albufeira’s underwater world and look out for local marine life. It’s a truly unforgettable experience.
When the gauge tells us it’s time, we’ll return to the boat and head back to the dive center, wrapping up a total of about three hours and 45 minutes of adventure.
Important
After your last dive, you must wait at least 24 hours before flying or going to high-altitude areas.
