Hahoe Village Tour
Hahoe Village Tour
We'll meet at Andong Central Station at 12:50 pm and hop on a bus to make our way to the first stop on the tour: the Buyongdae Cliff. From this 60-metre high rock, we'll enjoy spectacular views of Hahoe Village. Do you know what Buyongdae means? Find out on the tour!
Next, we'll head to the highlight of the tour: Hahoe Village. This traditional South Korean village has its origins in the Joseon dynasty that reigned for five centuries. Its layout is rooted in Confucianism, as its straight streets are influenced by the precepts of this religion. Surrounding the village is the Nakdong River, a landscape that will take your breath away!
To learn more about the Joseon Dynasty, we'll then visit the Byeongsan Seowon, an ancient Confucian school and temple that has been standing since the 17th century.
The tour will end at Andong Central Station at 5 pm.
