At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Angra do Heroismo, to board the boat that will take us to sail the waters off the coast of Terceira. Are you ready to see a sunset that will leave you speechless?
We'll set sail from the pier and start sailing along the bay of Angra do Heroísmo, flanked by soft green hills and colonial architecture houses that glisten in the warm light of the sunset. From the sea, you'll enjoy privileged views of this historic city, founded in the 15th century and considered a jewel of the Atlantic.
We'll admire the coast of the island, discovering its many charms, such as the Cabras Islets. Do you know the reason for their name? Although they are currently uninhabited, in their day the shepherds used these islands to feed their livestock throughout the year.
As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, you can watch the coastline transform into a canvas of warm colours. The calm waters of the ocean reflect the tones of the sky, creating a magical atmosphere that invites calm and contemplation.
During the trip, we'll sail close to Monte Brasil, an ancient volcano that dominates the landscape and offers an unmistakable silhouette facing the sea. You'll also be able to observe some of the small coves and rock formations that dot this unique Azorean coastline. In addition, during the tour, we'll offer you a drink to toast to this marvellous sunset.
After 2 hours, we'll return to the port of departure, with the image of the sunset over Angra do Heroísmo etched in your memory.
