Located in the region of Málaga, the Caminito del Rey was built in the 20th century as an access route between two hydroelectric power stations. Before it was redeveloped, the path was treacherous. However, running along the steep walls of El Chorro Gorge, this narrow path provided incredible views of the surrounding landscapes and the Guadalhorce River.

Before you visit

Due to high demand, we recommend booking your visit online with Civitatis well in advance of your visit. Please keep in mind that the walk takes between 3 and 4 hours, so wear suitable shoes and clothing!
