Until the 18th century, the Palacio Cervelló was the private residence of the noble Cervelló family. From the Middle Ages to the 20th century, aristocrats, merchants and royalty have occupied this historic site. Today, it holds an impressive collection of modern, contemporary and street art. On this guided tour of the museum, we'll visit its many exhibitions and collections. Our first stop will be the Laugh Now Gallery, which combines unique street art pieces by Banksy. It's no surprise that it's one of the public's favourites.
Next up, we'll check out the Modern Masters exhibition, which celebrates artists who stand out for their contributions to art, culture and the world. The list of Modern Masters includes artists such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Salvador Dalí, Damien Hirst, Keith Haring, KAWS, and Yayoi Kusama.
In the Contemporary Masters exhibition, we'll admire work from rising stars from around the world. This section presents artists such as David LaChapelle, Harland Miller, Julian Opie, Hayden Kays, Nick Thomm, and Takashi Murakami.
Of course, our visit couldn't end without seeing the Digital Immersive Art exhibition with work by teamLab, Les Fantômes and Studio Irma. This exhibition aims to create multi-sensory environments that will encourage you to connect and truly immerse yourself in the museum's vision.
