We'll meet at the time you book in Piazza Castello, in the heart of the historic centre of Barletta. The tour will begin outside the castle located on the shores of the Adriatic Sea whose origins date back to the 12th century. We'll tell you all about the important defensive role this fortress played.
Afterwards, we'll take a walk through the beautiful port and head to Barletta Cathedral, one of the most iconic monuments in the city. Do you want to know which god from Roman mythology was worshipped here? Find out on the tour!
Our next stop will be at the Cantina della Disfida, an ancient tavern where we'll discover one of the most important episodes in the history of this town: The Challenge of Barletta.
We'll also walk along the Porta Marina and past the Palazzo della Marra, the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre, the famous Colossus of Barletta statue and much more!
The hour and a half long private tour will end at the Colossus of Barletta statue.
