Day Trip to Potsdam & Sachsenhausen

At the scheduled time, we'll meet up at the World Time Clock in Alexanderplatz. There, we'll board a bus and set off on our must-see excursion from Berlin. 

First, we'll go on a panoramic tour of the most important monuments of the German capital. Then we'll head over to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. 

Once there, we'll take a guided tour to learn about the history of the German concentration camps during Nazi rule. We'll see the courtyards, barracks, and cells, and we'll learn how the work was distributed and what punishments were inflicted on the prisoners.

After visiting Sachsenhausen, we will head to Potsdam, a city declared a World Heritage Site. We'll take a guided tour of the city and admire the exterior of the Sanssouci Palace and its park. Afterward, we'll give you an hour of free time in the town to have lunch.

Finally, we'll return to Berlin and arrive back at the starting point after a total of 7 hours.

Sachsenhausen Day Trip

We’ll depart from the center of Berlin in a comfortable bus and head to Sachsenhausen, where we'll go on a 2-hour guided tour. As we explore, we’ll visit key sites, such as the central courtyard, Tower A, barracks 38 and 39, the kitchen, Tower E, the prison, and the gas chamber.

After the visit to Sachsenhausen, we'll go by bus to the East Side Gallery. During this scenic tour, we'll admire the famous graffiti of the Berlin Wall, such as "The Kiss," and learn about the history of this important part of the German capital.

Finally, the tour will conclude in the neighborhood of Kreuzberg, south of central Berlin. From here, after a total of approximately 4.5 hours, you can head to other points of interest, such as Checkpoint Charlie, the Jewish Museum Berlin, and the Topography of Terror.
