Tour Options

While booking your tour of the La Provenquière Winery, you can opt for the following options:

Self-Guided Tour + Tasting (1 Hour)

Located in the department of Hérault, in southern France, La Provenquière is a winery managed by the Robert-Boularand family since 1954.

If you book this option, you'll enjoy a tasting of 5 wines that will vary depending on availability. Among the varieties, you'll savor Protected Geographical Indication wines, such as IGP Pays d'Oc or IGP Coteaux d'Ensérune.

After the tasting, you'll be able to explore the gardens of the castle at your own pace. You'll also have the chance to enjoy a self-guided tour of the estate's farm, where products like honey and olive oil are made.

This tour operates at the following times:

  • Monday, WednesdayFriday, and Saturday: at 9 am and 10 am, and 2 pm3 pm, and 4 pm
  • Martes: at 9 am and 10 am
  • Jueves: at 2 pm3 pm, and 4 pm

Guided Tour (1.5 Hours)

If you book this option, you'll embark on a tour of La Provenquière winery's vineyards. As you'll see, the variety of soils (gravel, blue loam, and clay-limestone) allows for the cultivation of different types of grapes, resulting in extraordinary varieties of red, white, and rosé wines.

You'll also learn how sustainable viticulture is practiced here, which has an HVE 3 certification. This certifies the preservation of biodiversity and the quality of the terroir

Our tour will continue by visiting the park of the château, the wine cellar, and the barrel room. We'll conclude this 1.5-hour tour in the wineries located in the old stables, where, if you book the option with a tasting, you'll enjoy the same wine tasting previously described. Like the self-guided tour option, after the tasting, you can explore the castle's gardens and farm at your own pace.

This tour operates at the following times:

  • Tuesday: at 2:30 pm
  • Thursday: at 10:30 am
