Boston Movie Locations Tour
Who remembers the not-so-cuddly, rather bad-mannered Teddy bear from the 2012 comedy film Ted? The park benches where John Bennett and his foul-mouthed, furry friend sit down to smoke and laugh at everything (and everyone) are located in the Boston Common park, the starting point of our Boston movie tour. And Ted wasn't the only movie to be shot here; Boston Common also features in Cheers, The Departed, Ally McBeal, Amistad, The Company Men, and Glory!
Afterwards, we'll take a walk to one of the most iconic areas in Boston: Beacon Hill. Not only will you pass by the Boston Athenaeum library that features in Civil Action and With Honors, but you'll also walk down the famous Acorn Street, where The Thomas Crown Affair, Boondock Saints, What’s the Worst That Can Happen?, The Departed, MTV’s Real World, and Blown Away were all filmed, making this street the most photographed in Boston!
Our next and final stop will be the iconic Cheers™, a bar/restaurant that became famous as a result of the 80s sitcom "Cheers". Our tour will end at the starting point.
