Casa Vermouth Padró Winery Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of Casa Vermouth Padró to tour the facilities of this family-owned winery located in the town of Bràfim.
First, we'll enjoy a welcome glass of wine. Then, we'll discover the history of this traditional winery located in Cal Garriga, a manor house dating back to 1776. During the tour, we'll see the different facilities: the herbalist and botanical area, the live plant nurseries, infusion and maceration areas, barrel rooms, casks, foudres...
Throughout the visit, you'll also discover how vermouths are made, see the herbs, spices, roots, flowers, citrus peels, and skins necessary for their elaboration. You'll also see the techniques the workers use to treat wine, alcohol, botanical infusions, color, added sweetness, and other nuances.
After exploring the rooms, courtyards, and gardens of the manor house, we'll conclude this 2-hour experience with a tasting of 8 vermouths served with chips and olives. Children aged 12 to 17 and adults without a vermouth tasting can enjoy orange or pineapple juice.
After the tasting, which is optional, you can purchase a vermouth and other products from Casa Vermouth Padró in the winery's store.
