We really enjoyed the visit; it takes between half an hour and an hour to see. It's very well preserved and the atmosphere is great. Although it's said that Blad Petes (the famous Count Dracula) never lived there, since the real Dracula is on the Tranfagarasan road in the Făgărăș Mountains, which are part of the Carpathian range. It's in ruins on top of a hill, and you have to climb between 1,400 and 1,500 steps. I think they want to restore it. Bran Castle is a very popular tourist destination and well worth seeing; I highly recommend it.
