Tour Details

Did you know that Brașov is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Romania? You can see for yourself when we meet in front of the Modarom building in Revolution Square, where we'll begin our free walking tour of Brașov.

Right at the start, we’ll dive into the history of this Transylvanian city, located near the famous Bran Castle, linked to the Dracula legend. Located at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains, Brașov is a medieval city where history comes alive as you walk through the streets of the Old Town.

During the tour, we'll visit Brașov's main attractions, including Council Square (Piața Sfatului), the heart of the citadel, full of cafes, restaurants, and museums like the History Museum and the Council House, the former Town Hall.

Next, we'll stop by Brassai Square and Schei Gate, a 9th-century triumphal arch that served as the entrance to the old Romanian district.

Nearby, we'll find Catherine’s Gate (Poarta Ecaterina), the oldest gate in Brașov. It is a true gem! We'll also explore Rope Street, known as the narrowest street in Romania.

To finish, we'll see the Black Church, a temple that became the main center of worship between Vienna and Istanbul thanks to its impressive structure.

After 2 hours and 15 minutes, the free tour ends in front of this iconic church.
