Free Walking Tour of Brno
After meeting at 10:15 am in front of the astronomical clock in Brno's Liberty Square, we'll begin our two and a half hour free walking tour of the Czech city.
As we walk through the picturesque cobblestone streets of Brno, we'll hear all about the exciting history of the second largest city in the Czech Republic. Did you know that Napoleon won one of his battles just 6 miles (10 km) away?
We'll see St James Church, a gem of Gothic architecture which houses the second largest ossuary in Europe, before reaching Brno's Old Town Hall, where we'll discover the legend of the wheel and the mythical dragon that decorates the roof.
Next, we'll visit the Zelňák, or Vegetable Market, before making a stop next to a bronze statue of Mozart. Do you know the link between the Austrian musician and this Czech city?
The last stop of the free tour will be at one of the most emblematic symbols of Brno, the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. Its impressive spires can be seen from almost every part of the city!
It is not possible to reserve this tour for groups larger than 6 people. If this is the case, take a look at our Private Tour of Brno instead.
