Wine Tasting Experience in the Floresta Neighborhood
Tour Options
During the booking process, you can choose between several tour options. Each tour takes place at 3750 Dr. Luis Beláustegui St. and includes a tasting of 3 or 5 wines and a guide.
Below you'll find a brief description of each one:
Tasting of 3 Wines (1 Hour & 15 Minutes - 1.5 Hours)
We'll enter the facilities, a place full of passion for Argentine wine, with its founder and sommelier. First, we'll listen in to an introduction equipping us with the basics to better understand what we are about to taste. Then, we'll embark on a blind tasting of 3 carefully selected wines, where we'll learn to identify aromas, notes, and textures without being influenced by the labels.
Afterward, we'll get into groups to create our own wine. With test tubes, funnels and a selection of base wines, we'll experiment with proportions until we achieve a personalized blend. You can even design your own label to test your creativity. What's more, we'll pair each wine with cheeses and nuts.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday at 3 pm
Tasting of 5 Wines (1 Hour & 15 Minutes - 1.5 Hours)
In this experience, we'll start with an overview of the winemaking process. Our wine journey will be divided into three basic steps: color, aroma, and flavor. We'll learn how to distinguish these three aspects and how we can apply them to our tasting of 5 wines, each representing the diversity of Argentina's regions.
Afterward, we'll start our guided tasting. At the table, we'll sip each variety and blend as they are paired with two meat empanadas, a potato omelet, and two cubanitos de dulce de leche, a traditional Argentinian sweet. A complete tasting experience!
- Schedule: Monday to Friday at 3 pm
Tasting of 5 Wines + Aroma Workshop (1 Hour & 15 Minutes - 1.5 Hours)
Here, we'll immerse ourselves in the world of wine aromas. The experience will begin with an aroma workshop in which we'll train our sense of smell with a specialized aroma package. Once we've learned how to identify the notes of the different types of wines, we'll put our new skills to the test with a tasting using black glasses. This makes the tasting experience much more interesting since we'll use only our sense of smell to identify the 5 wines we'll taste.
With black glasses, we'll not be able to appreciate the color, intensity or transparency of the wine. The challenge will be to succeed in discovering the varieties with the absence of visual parameters. We'll accompany the tasting with a cheese and nuts board for pairing, and mineral water to cleanse the palate. A challenge as fun as it is intense!
- Schedule: Monday to Friday at 3 pm
Tasting of 5 Wines + Argentinean Cooking Class (3 Hours)
If in addition to wines, you are passionate about cooking, this is the ideal experience for you. In this case, we'll start by getting on our aprons. The first dish we'll learn to cook will be meat or corn empanadas. We'll make the filling and prepare them in the most traditional way to bake them in the oven. As it begins to bake in the oven, we'll talk about the different types of wines produced in the various regions throughout the country.
Then, we'll begin mixing the ingredients to make alfajores de maicena con dulce de leche (cornstarch cookies with dulce de leche), a classic Argentinian sweet! We'll learn how to make this traditional dessert and customize it by adding different toppings. Once everything is ready and served at the table, we'll sit down to our tasting of 5 wines carefully selected to accompany the dishes we have just prepared.
- Hours: Monday to Friday at 11 am
