At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Conventillo de Nelly, a house-turned-museum in Buenos Aires that dates back to 1886 and declared a Cultural Heritage Site. It's no wonder! The history and atmosphere of this home in the La Boca neighbourhood are truly authentic.
The second we step foot in the conventillo, its colourful entrance hall will greet us with its paintings. You'll feel as if you're travelling back to a time when Italian immigrants first arrived in Argentina.
Pencils, cloths, sheets, glassware, furniture... You'll be amazed to see how details of everyday life have been preserved from this period.
After finishing a guided tour of the Conventillo de Nelly, we'll head to the dining room where the tables will be set. We'll sit and make a toast with a wine tasting, informed by sommeliers, while we enjoy a lunch that includes a starter, a main course, and dessert prepared by a professional chef.
While we enjoy the food, a tango show will begin with the first notes of a bandoneon and an intimate dance of a couple on stage. You’ll be captivated by the outpouring of passion and elegance! We'll also enjoy a live theater performance from a local actor.
This experience at the Conventillo de Nelly will come to an end after a total of 2 hours.
