Take a trip to Andong to see three iconic landmarks in Korean culture. You will visit Hahoe Village, Woryeonggyo Bridge, and Manhyujeong Pavilion.
We will pick you up between 7:20 am and 8 am at the meeting point of your choice before setting off for Andong. During the next three hours, we will through the stunning Korean landscapes arriving at the captivating village of Hahoe which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
Strolling through the picturesque streets, we will find out why it is such a key place for Korean culture, hear about its relationship with the Chosŏn dynasty, and learn about the history of the Ryu family, who have lived in Hahoe for 600 years.
You will then have half an hour to yourself to have something to eat in the village. Then feeling reenergized, we will go to Woryeonggyo Bridge, the longest wooden footbridge in Korea. There, our guide will explain all about the legend of the Mituri widow and her relationship to this enchanting location.
Then, we hit the road again and drive to the Manhyujeong Pavilion, built during the Joseon Dynasty. You will discover exactly why its name means "to take a long rest"! We will stroll through the lush gardens and along the original wooden walkways which lead to the house.
Finally, we return to Busan and accompany to the original starting point where our fantastic trip concludes, some time 8:30 pm and 9:10 pm.
