South Menorca Kayak Tour

At 10 am, we'll meet at the Passeig dels Porxos in the town of Cala Torret. From here, we'll set off on a kayak tour that'll take us around the southern tip of Menorca. Let's go!

Once we've hopped into our kayaks, we'll start rowing through the Mediterranean Sea towards Biniacolla Cove. This small beach, which is a lot less busy, has a more traditional and tranquil atmosphere. You'll love the contrast here between the intense blue colour of the sea and the white houses that line its shores.

The next stop of the day will be at Punta Prima Beach, which is one of the most popular beaches in southern Menorca. Here, and at the other places we'll visit, you'll be able to rest, take a refreshing dip or have something to eat on your own.

Nearby, we'll find the Illa de l'Aire. We'll kayak up to this islet and hop out of our kayaks so we can walk around this lighthouse, which was the largest lighthouse in the Balearic Islands for over a century.

When we're back in our kayaks, we'll head to Alcaufar Cove. Here, we'll see an old stone watchtower from the 18th century. Next, we'll pass by S'Algar Beach and then come to San Esteban Cove. While we're at this last spot, we'll see fortresses such as San Felipe Castle and Fort Marlborough, which was built by the British.

We'll finish our kayak tour at 4 pm as we come back to the starting point in Cala Torret.
