    EXCELLENT TOUR! The guides do everything possible to make sure participants will get maximum of it even in bad weather (unlike "buendia tours"). Its extremely well organised, so you able to see and experience everything possible, but you don't get exhausted quickly (since car took you around the park and you can see everything). Very deep and thoughtful explanations from the guides, so you can really feel they are passionate about their work and about the park. I really recommend it!

    A family of five of us participated in the tour. It exceeded our expectations in terms of organization and the places we visited; we were delighted. The scenery and views are spectacular. Our guide was Santiago, and his knowledge, passion, and admiration for the history of Asturias were evident. Bravo to Santiago, Abril, and Iván! I give the tour a 10 out of 10.

The Lakes of Covadonga form a stunning natural setting in the heart of the Picos de Europa National Park, in Asturias. Their beauty has made them one of the most visited natural sites in northern Spain.

Where are the Lakes of Covadonga?

The lakes, Enol and Ercina, sit at an altitude of around 1,100 meters in the Picos de Europa, near the town of Cangas de Onís. Major cities like Oviedo and Gijón are just an hour and a half away by car. If you're traveling from farther cities like Santander or Avilés, the drive is roughly 2 hours.

How to reach the Lakes of Covadonga

Wondering how to get to the Lakes of Covadonga? You can drive your own car, but during peak tourist seasons, private vehicle access is restricted to protect the environment. At those times, the only way up is via shuttle buses.
