Carlos and Rita offered an absolutely fantastic experience. Rita was knowledgeable about the castle and towns history, answered any questions we had and took things at our own pace. Carlos was very welcoming at the tavern, offering us an interesting taster meal, we had fun dressing up and he gave us a keyring each as a gift. Being the end of the season we had the tour to ourselves so it was an absolute bargain! Would definitely visit again.
We had a wonderful time. The village is beautiful, the guide was excellent, and the owner of the El Caballinho tavern is a fantastic person. The medieval costumes were very well done. And the meal we were treated to was absolutely delicious.
