Castro Urdiales Boat Tour
Get to know the coast of Cantabria from a different perspective with this boat trip through Castro Urdiales. You'll see remains of the Civil War and one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Spain.
Castro Urdiales Boat Tour
We'll meet at the indicated time at the jetty in front of the Lonja de Pescado (fish market) of Castro Urdiales. There we'll board a semi-rigid boat and start a cruise across the Cantabrian Sea.
We'll begin the trip crossing the waters of the district of Mioño. Here we'll see the old mineral loading dock, the remains of various defenses of the Civil War and, of course, the best views of the eastern coast of Cantabria.
Our journey along the coast of Castro Urdiales will continue near the iconic beach of Ostende. From there we'll sail until we reach the cliff on which stands the cemetery of La Ballena, named the most beautiful in Spain in 2017.
Before embarking on our return, if conditions are favorable, we'll stop a mile from the coast so that you can enjoy a swim in the Cantabrian Sea without the crowds of the beaches along the coast.
After this approximately 30-minute swim, we'll conclude the trip at the starting point, docking an hour and a half after setting sail.
