Options
When making your booking, you can choose between 2 options. Both options include pickup and drop–off at your hotel at Cumbuco Beach or the agreed meeting point. The following explains each of the available options:
Kitesurfing at Cauípe Lagoon
We'll leave Cumbuco Beach behind and make our way 7 km (4.34 miles) to Cauípe Lagoon, a place of impressive beauty. Once there, you'll have 6 hours of free time to go kitesurfing.
The Cauípe Lagoon is separated by a few metres of beach, which allows the wind to flow perfectly, making this spot an amazing place to go kitesurfing. You'll also see many other professional kitesurfers here.
Finally, we'll make our way back to the starting point after 6.5 hours together.
Kitesurfing at Cumbuco
This option is perfect for those more experienced kitesurfers. We'll leave Caucaia behind and travel for around 45 km (27 miles) until we arrive at Cumbuco Beach. Upon arrival, we'll explain to you where we'll be waiting if you need anything to replenish your energy, like fruit or water.
If you choose this option, you'll enjoy a day full of kitesurfing that will run between Pecém harbour and beaches, coconut groves and the Taíba cliffs. The landscape that you'll see here will seriously impress you! We'll also pass by the great deserted beach near Quebramar Peak, known for having some of the best waves in the region.
Finally, we'll meet up at an agreed point and then make our way back to the hotels after 6.5 hours.
Hotel pickup
This tour includes pickup and drop–off at the hotels on Cumbuco Beach. If you're staying in another area of Caucaia, we'll get in contact with you to arrange an alternative meeting point.
Requirements
To be able to rent the kitesurfing equipment, the school's instructor will need to check if you have enough experience to be able to take part. You'll also have a sign a responsibility waiver on the day of the tour.
