  • Bronze Age: you'll admire national treasures over 3000 years old, with the Carro del Sol and the famous Cuernos de Oro, along with the mysterious Niña de Egtved.
  • Viking Section: you can admire unique artifacts, from collars that represent Thor's hammer to the last archaeological findings of this formidable era.
  • Royal Collection: you'll see personal items, gems, ceremonial clothes, and swords from the Danish royalty, along with exhibitions dedicated to the Middle Ages period, the Renaissance period, and the 19th and 20th centuries.
  • Classical and Egyptian Antiques: you'll discover pieces from ancient cultures, such as Egyptian mummies.
  • The Children's Museum (Børnemuseet): this interactive section is specially designed for little ones to learn in a fun way with the collection of doll houses and ancient toys.

  • November to March: the museum opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. On Monday, the museum is closed
