History of Tivoli Gardens

Since 1843, Tivoli Gardens has been a haven of wonder and fun! A success in its own right, Tivoli has also served as an inspiration for author Hans Christian Andersen as well as Walt Disney.

When is the best time to visit?

The park is usually open from April to September. From October to March, it is open for select weeks at Halloween and Christmas time. The park is beautiful both during the day and at night, though at twilight the lights come on and give the park a truly magical feel.
