Sea of Dunes in the Atacama Region Day Trip

Between 3:30 and 4:30 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the Sea of Dunes in the Chilean region of Atacama.

When we get to this arid natural environment, we'll take a tour of the area's geology to discover its origins, development and evolution. We'll find out how the force of the wind and other causes of erosion mean the landscape is in a constant state of change.

Next, we'll do an exhilarating sandboarding activity in the Sea of Dunes. We'll hop onto boards designed for moving across the sand and surf over the dunes during this fun experience. Fun guaranteed!

As our sandboarding activity comes to an end, we'll watch the sun set over the Sea of Dunes. While we admire the sunset, we'll get our energy back with a picnic snack consisting of a variety of local products.

Once night has fallen, we'll gaze up at the night sky to try and spot stars and other celestial bodies. We'll admire the sky in an area free of light pollution, which will allow us to observe the stars clearly.

After stargazing, we'll return to your hotel and drop you off between 9:30 and 10:30 pm.
