Cozumel Guided Tour
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and start this tour of Cozumel. Ready to discover the island’s most charming spots? Let’s go!
First, we’ll head to the east side to start the route in the best way possible, with a refreshing swim in the natural pool of Chen Río. During the journey, we’ll tell you about Cozumel’s Mayan history and the importance of the goddess Ixchel, deity of the moon, fertility, and medicine.
Our next stop will be at the San Martín camp, a turtle sanctuary where you’ll learn about this incredible species and the island’s conservation programs. After this visit, we’ll head to the highest point on Cozumel, where you’ll hear a Mayan legend.
Next, we’ll take you to a secret bar where you’ll try the best mojito on the island. As if that weren’t enough, we’ll also toast with a tequila tasting. After that, we’ll visit El Cedral, known as the oldest Mayan settlement on Cozumel. You’ll see Mayan and Spanish settlements and then admire the colorful murals that tell the island’s history.
To wrap up, we’ll enjoy a delicious typical meal at a local restaurant, including chicken, salad, rice, beans, soup, and tortillas. Enjoy!
Finally, we’ll head back to the starting point, where we’ll say goodbye after a total of 4.5 hours.
