Burgundy Wine Tour
Burgundy Wine Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Place Darcy in Dijon, and we'll enter the Burgundy region to learn all the secrets of one of its most precious products: wine. We'll explore the picturesque landscape of the Cote d'Or and its charming villages. Are you ready to surprise your palate? Let's go!
First up, we'll visit an 18th century castle, a very special place to learn all about the history of wine in Burgundy. There, we'll show you all the secrets of the region's vineyards, as well as the particularities of the different types of grapes grown there. Afterward, we'll have a wine tasting workshop with a comparative tasting of different Burgundy wines produced at the château.
To complete the experience, we'll enjoy a traditional picnic-style mâchon including a selection of typical Burgundy products, such as charcuterie and cheeses. Obviously, accompanied by more wine—a real treat for the palate!
After lunch, we'll visit a family winery in Meursault where we'll taste products and wines produced by the winery itself. We'll then take a tour of the vineyards of the Côte de Nuits and discover the prestigious Montrachet Grand Cru, one of the most famous vineyards in the world. It's particularly known for its exceptional white wines made from the Chardonnay grape. This vineyard, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, is a true benchmark in viticulture, and its visit is a unique experience for lovers of high-end wine.
Finally, we'll return to the train station in Dijon, where we'll arrive after 7.5 hours of experience.
