A Bit of History

Dubai Marina was built in the early 2000s on a stretch of sandy coastline. It was designed to emulate the style of major Californian marinas: a residential and tourist district built around an artificial canal of nearly 2 miles (3 kilometers) in length. Today, it’s one of the symbols of modern Dubai, with a marina, a beach, and futuristic skyscrapers facing the ocean.
