Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Dead Sea Day Trip
After being picked up from your hotel in Eilat, you'll head north by bus across the desert landscape of the Arava valley.
Your first stop will be at the Dead Sea coastal resort of Ein Bokek where you'll have an hour of free time to bathe in its calm turquoise waters. You'll experience the strange phenomenon of floating in the sea rather than having to swim - do you know why this is?
The tour will continue through the Judean Desert, one of the world’s smallest, yet most unique desert regions. On the edge of this incredible natural wilderness lies Jerusalem. You'll go on a guided tour of the Holy City, learning all about the fascinating histories of sacred sites such as the Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre amongst others.
After your guided tour of Jerusalem, you'll have some free time to enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to go on an optional excursion to Bethlehem to visit holy monuments such as the Church of the Nativity. Or, if you prefer, you can stay in Jerusalem for a while longer to explore the city at your leisure. If you choose to stay in the Holy City, you'll be picked up again in the evening on the return to your hotel in Eilat.
