Fátima Guided Tour
Fátima Guided Tour
At your selected time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Fátima and embark on our guided tour of Portugal's most famous Catholic pilgrimage site.
Firstly, we'll enter the emblematic Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, where we'll see the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. Look up to see the large crown which stands on top of its tower! We'll then continue by visiting the Basilica of the Holy Trinity, a contemporary church that was only opened in 2007.
Later, we'll head to the historic home of Francisco and Jacinta Marto, where we'll discover the details of the apparition of Our Lady of Fátima to these young shepherds. Afterwards, we'll visit the Church of Fátima and the Shepherds, where the children were baptised.
The final stop on our tour will be at the Oil Museum, where we'll hear all about what life was like in this rural village before it became a sacred Catholic pilgrimage site. Inside the museum, we'll get to see old oil-production machinery while we learn about the importance of the product in the region.
At the end of the 3-hour guided tour of Fátima, we'll drop you back off at your hotel.
Oil Museum
Please note that the Olive Oil Museum is closed in winter (until March 31, 2024), so the tour will not pass through it at this time.
