    The dam was interesting and the falls were spectacular. The guide was very pleasant and informative, he even slowed down his speech for me as he was speaking Spanish and my native language is English. (I was also using this as an opportunity to practice the language.) The pickups/transfers all went smoothly and the restaurants selected for meals were great. Suggestion: ask about preference for the location of the bus seat (I have arthritis and would have preferred a seat on the first level)

Iguazu Falls (Iguaçu Falls) are the largest waterfall system in the world. Located on the border of Argentina and Brazil, this majestic natural wonder is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Why visit the Iguazu Falls?

Located very close to the cities of Puerto Iguazú and Foz do Iguaçu, this set of waterfalls is taller than Niagra and wider than Victoria Falls! Nestled within lush sub-tropical rainforest, the falls are also surrounded by incredible biodiversity.

How to get there

Alternatively, you can go by private vehicle and simply purhcase an entrance ticket to access the natural site.

Legend has it...

Some say that the falls were formed by a god, who had planned to marry a beautiful woman named Naipí. When the god saw Naipí and her lover sailing in a canoe, he sliced the Iguazu River.
