Activity Options

During the booking process, you can choose between the following options for this rafting experience on the Yellowstone River.

In both cases, we'll meet you at Scott Street to provide you with all the necessary equipment, including wetsuits, water shoes and waterproof jackets. We'll then board a vehicle that will take us to the other end of Gardiner in about 15 minutes, where we'll receive a brief safety briefing before we hit the water.

You can see the details of each option below.

Tour without Lunch (3 Hours)

We'll begin our descent right at the northern border of Yellowstone National Park, at the confluence of the Gardner River with the powerful Yellowstone River.

Along the route of about 10 kilometres (6.2 miles), we'll navigate class II and III rapids, suitable for all levels and a lot of fun. Riding on the rafts, we'll face exciting sections such as Man-Eater Hole, Boonie's Revenge and Sleeping Giant.

During the activity, we'll enjoy spectacular views and, with a bit of luck, we may even spot animals such as moose, bison, bald eagles and even river hawks—you'll love it!

There will also be quieter moments when the river calms down, ideal for a dip in the river or just a relaxing float while taking in the natural surroundings. Did you know that this area is one of the best places in the country to see birds of prey in the wild?

At the end of the trip, a vehicle will pick us up and take us back to the starting point.

Tour with Lunch (6 Hours)

If you choose this option, we'll follow the same route as described above for the first part of the descent, facing exciting rapids and other more relaxed sections in the surroundings of Gardner.

Afterwards, we'll continue downstream into Paradise Valley, where we'll make a stop to enjoy a lunch consisting of a sandwich with fries, biscuits and lemonade. You can choose from ham, turkey, peanut butter and jelly or vegetarian options.

Refreshed, we'll enter the picturesque Yankee Jim Canyon, considered one of the most beautiful stretches of the Yellowstone River. Sparkling waters, breathtaking scenery and endless opportunities to connect with nature.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point to say goodbye.

Activity Requirements
