Tour Details

Welcome to North Tyrol! At the designated time, we'll begin our guided walking tour of Hall in Tirol from the Tourism Office of this beautiful town located on the outskirts of Innsbruck.

First, we'll explore the old town, which is found on the riverbank of the Eno River. The most important attraction of the historic center is Burg Hasegg, the castle in Hall in Tirol. Next to this castle is the former Münze Hall or mint. This mint held great historical importance, as it was here that the talers or thalers were produced. Did you know which major modern currency traces its origins back to these coins? You'll find out soon!

Then, we'll head to the beautiful Oberer Stadtplatz. At this picturesque square, you'll see from the outside the facade of the Town Hall and the Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus church. We'll pass by the St. Magdalena Kapelle, a chapel that has one of the most stunning Gothic altars in the region.

We'll continue strolling around the historical center of Hall in Tirol by exploring its most charming streets. During the tour, you'll learn different curiosities about the main holidays celebrated in this town. Among the most popular holidays is the Easter Festival or the cycle of musical events of the Musikplus festival.

Finally, after 1.5 hours exploring the center of this town, we'll conclude our guided walking tour in the Oberer Stadtplatz, in front of the Town Hall.
