How does it work?
The first boat of the day leaves from Tsim Sha Tsui Pier 1 at 12 pm, and the total duration of the cruise is one hour. During this time, the boat makes three other stops, where you can get off and explore the area at your own pace, before catching one of the later boats on to the next stop. The last boat docks back at Tsim Sha Tsui at 5 pm.
Tsim Sha Tsui: this urban area in southern Kowloon is home to many high-end shops and restaurants as well as a number of the city's museums. Visit the Avenue of Stars, a promenade along the waterfront, marvel at the best views of Hong Kong skyline, and admire the luxury boutiques on Canton and Nathan Roads. Boats depart at 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm from Pier 1.
Central: this central business district is home to many of Hong Kong's incredible skyscrapers, as well as Victoria Peak. The Aqua Luna departs from Pier 9 at 12:10 pm, 1:10 pm, 2:10 pm, 3:10 pm and 4:10 pm.
Wan Chai: visit more of Hong Kong's most famous skyscrapers and stroll past the Exhibition Centre and Golden Bauhinia Square, known for its golden orchid sculpture. The cruises pass by the Ferry Pier at 12:20 pm, 1:20 pm, 2:20 pm, 3:20 pm and 4:20 pm.
Hung Hom: one of Hong Kong's liveliest residential and commercial districts: don't miss The Whampoa, a shopping centre built inside an enormous ship. The ship leaves from Ferry Pier at 12:40 pm, 1:40 pm, 2:40 pm and 3:40 pm.
The Aqua Luna
The Aqua Luna is a Chinese sailing ship known as a junk, built by hand according to traditional methods. Its construction took a total of 18 months and was supervised by expert Chinese naval engineers. It has a maximum capacity of 80 passengers.
