We'll pick you up from your hotel in Isfahan at the indicated time and head east. For 1.5 hours, the urban landscape will give way to wide plains, until we reach the entrance to the Varzaneh Desert, one of the most accessible and spectacular deserts in Iran. Ready, adventurers?
Before we hit the sand, we'll make a brief stop in the city of Varzaneh, known for its women dressed in white, a unique tradition in the country. We'll explore some of its most curious nooks and crannies, such as the ancient mud-brick bridge, the pigeon towers and the ruins of a centuries-old caravanserai.
Afterwards, we'll enter the desert. The golden dunes will stretch out before us like an infinite sea of sand, perfect for walking barefoot and enjoying the afternoon sun. We'll climb one of the highest dunes to watch the sunset over the horizon, a spectacle of light and shadow that you'll never forget.
At nightfall, we'll set up camp and light a campfire. In this magical setting, under a starry sky with no light pollution, we'll enjoy a simple but delicious dinner, accompanied by hot tea and stories around the fire. You'll feel the absolute peace of this enclave.
We'll sleep in tents with camping mattresses and blankets, enjoying a very special night. Sweet dreams!
At dawn, we'll wake up to see the sun awaken and envelop the desert with its magical golden light. After a leisurely stroll through the dunes, we'll have breakfast outside, surrounded only by the desert landscape.
Finally, we'll leave the Varzaneh desert behind and start our return to Isfahan. We'll be back at your hotel around 10 am.
