Florianópolis Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Itajaí at 7:30 am to head to lively Florianópolis, the capital of the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina and commonly known as "Floripa".

There, we'll start with a tour of the municipality to see its main attractions, such as the Hercílio Luz Bridge, the second largest suspension bridge in Brazil. The views from its observation deck are breathtaking!

We‘ll then continue walking along Largo da Alfândega Avenue to see the 18th century Metropolitan Cathedral and Praça XV de Novembro, where the city was founded, until we reach the majestic Cruz e Sousa Palace, also known as the Pink Palace because of the salmon-coloured façade. 

Our next stop will be the eastern part of the city to visit Lagoa da Conceição and the beaches of Joaquina, Mole and Barra da Lagoa. Did you know that Florianópolis has almost 100 beaches?

During our journey, we’ll make a stop before heading to the TAMAR Project, a place for the preservation of endangered species. Here you'll be able to observe different types of sea turtles. 

We’ll conclude the tour visiting the northern beaches of the municipality: dos Ingleses, Canasvieiras and Balneário de Jurerê Internacional. Finally, we'll return to Itajaí and drop you back at your hotel at 6:30 pm.
