The wind and waves of Jericoacoara, on the coast of Ceará, make this destination ideal for water sports.
This kitesurfing course takes place at Praia do Preá. The program runs over 5 consecutive days, with a 2-hour lesson each day. The course includes a English-speaking instructor and all necessary equipment.
Below is the planned program for each day:
Day 1: Kite Control on the Sand
On the first day, you’ll learn how to handle the kite, which controls movement in kitesurfing. This initial lesson takes place on the beach and focuses on understanding how the kite responds to wind and commands.
Day 2: Kite Control in the Water
On the second day, you’ll review what you learned previously and then practice controlling the kite in the water, always guided by the instructor. This session is key to understanding how the kite behaves at sea.
Day 3: Body Drag and Safety Techniques
First, you’ll review previous lessons. Then, you’ll learn body drag, a technique for moving through the water using only the kite, without the board.
You’ll also learn essential safety techniques such as board recovery, self-rescue, and more advanced kite control in the water. This lesson is crucial for developing independence and confidence.
Day 4: Introduction to the Board
In this session, you’ll apply everything learned so far, combining kite control with balance on the board.
Day 5: Final Practice
The goal of the final lesson is to consolidate your skills and begin your first independent rides.

Depending on wind conditions, the 2-hour lessons will take place between 12 pm and 5 pm. You’ll be informed in advance of the exact schedule for each day.
