Jericoacoara Polynesian Canoe Ride
Activity Details
Ready to paddle along the coast of Ceará? We'll meet on Jericoacoara's main beach, where we'll gear up with life jackets and learn how to paddle a Polynesian canoe. This vessel, also known as a Hawaiian canoe, allows 6 people to paddle together at the same time, so coordination is key! Don't worry though, your instructor will be guiding you throughout.
Once ready, we'll set off on our Polynesian canoe ride along Jericoacoara. Depending on the time slot you book, you can enjoy this experience at sunrise or sunset. In the first case, we'll watch the sun's rays illuminate the beach's sand dunes as they rise. If you opt for the sunset session, we'll take in the full splendor of the sky turning shades of purple and scarlet.
Either way, we'll paddle in a northeast direction, passing by the captivating landscapes of Praia da Malhada and the natural pool of Dekinho on our way to Pedra Furada, a spectacular arch-shaped rock formation and one of the main attractions on this stretch of the Ceará coast.
After taking in this iconic natural monument from the canoe, we'll turn around and paddle back to the meeting point, wrapping up this 1.5-hour adventure.
