Pese a tener frontera con países como Irak, Siria o Israel, Jordania ha logrado mantenerse como un país muy seguro para turistas. No obstante, se recomienda precaución en zonas fronterizas y respetar las normas culturales y religiosas tal y como se suele aconsejar en cualquier otro destino.
La mejor época para viajar a Jordania es de marzo a mayo y de septiembre a noviembre. En estas épocas el clima no resulta extremo y es óptimo para visitar tanto monumentos históricos como parajes desérticos.
