    The excursion day is a bit long: departure from Antalya around 9am and return around 9pm for 3 hours on site. Pamukkale is very pretty and the "Cleopatra's pool" is a pleasant and picturesque hot spring. On the other hand, the time to enjoy all that does not necessarily leave much time to visit Hierapolis, it's a bit of a shame. The French-speaking guide we had took advantage of the transport times to tell us at length the history of the site and of Turkey, very informative.
