Oatman Village & Route 66 Museum Experience

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time and go to the Kingman visitor centre, home to one of the historic museums along Route 66. We'll be in the heart of the 'mother road' so... let's find out more!

Step back in time and learn about the history of Route 66 by discovering old photographs, sculptures, vehicles and much more.

Afterwards, we'll get on a minibus that will take us to the famous Cool Springs gas station, just 30 minutes away. Opened in the 1920s, this business has become a must for travellers on the famous American highway. A place to rest before driving along the winding stretch of Sitgreaves Pass through the Black Mountains.

As we head up to more than 1000 meters high we'll enjoy an incredible panoramic view. We'll take in the views of the borders between the states of Nevada, California and Arizona that will leave you surprised!

15 minutes later and we'll arrive at Oatman, which went from being a prosperous mining town to a ghost town. We'll reveal the history of this fascinating place and meet its most famous inhabitants, the donkeys! Afterwards, you'll have an hour of free time to tour the area and meet the cowboys who frequent this small town.

The tour will end by returning to the starting point after 4.5 hours of exploring.
