Kol-Ukok 2 Day Private Horseback Riding Tour

Day 1: Kochkor - Lake Kol-Ukok
At 9:00 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Kochkor. From there we'll make a short trip by road to the village of Karasay. When we arrive, we'll meet the guides and they'll teach us some riding techniques so that we can enjoy the tour to the fullest. Are you ready? The adventure begins!

Throughout the day we'll take a pleasant ride on horseback as we contemplate the impressive landscapes of Kyrgyzstan. On the way, we'll stop at a yurt to enjoy a delicious typical lunch.

With our batteries recharged, we'll continue the horseback ride for about an hour and a half until we reach our destination: the campsite by Lake Kol-Ukok. Once there, you can decide whether you want to go for a ride on horseback or rest until dinner time. 

Day 2: Lake Kol-Ukok - Kochkor
After having rested all night in a traditional yurt, we'll wake up in the camp and enjoy a delicious typical breakfast. 

Full of energy, we'll get back on the horses and start a route to the Mazar-Ukok area, located at 3510 meters above sea level, where you will fall in love with the panoramic views of the lakes and glaciers!

After a short stop, we'll start the descent next to a river that will take us to the village where the minibus will be waiting for us. On the way, we'll stop to recover our strength with a light lunch. 

Once the route is finished, we'll change horses for a vehicle and start the way back to Kochkor, where we'll arrive at 6 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes a night in a yurt by Lake Kol-Ukok. This type of accommodation consists of spacious tents with a capacity of between 5 and 8 people. You'll be in full contact with nature and feel like a real Central Asian nomad!
