Baikonur: 5 Day Tour + Rocket Launch

Day 1: Kyzylorda - Baikonur

On the first day, we'll pick you up at Kyzylorda Airport, from where we'll transfer you to the city for a short sightseeing tour and enjoy some of its most important monuments. The old railroad station, the Aitbai Mosque, the Church of Our Lady Kazan, and many other interesting places are waiting for you.

After the visit to Kyzylorda, we'll head to Baikonur, where we'll stay for the next few days. On the way, we'll stop to visit the memorial complex dedicated to the Kazakh composer, philosopher, and poet Korkyt-Ata.

Day 2: Baikonur

We'll start the day visiting the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the largest and oldest in the world. There, we'll admire the hangar where the rocket is stored and witness the rocket being transferred to the launch pad to see how it's installed. 

Afterwards, we'll continue touring some of the most special places in Baikonur, such as the Spaceport Museum, the old Buran rocket or the house museum of Soviet astronaut Yuri Gagarin.

Day 3: Baikonur

The third day of the tour will be devoted to further exploration of Baikonur. We'll take a five-hour tour of the city, visiting such interesting places as the Cosmodrome History Museum, the Monument to the victims of the Nedelin catastrophe, Korolev's house, and, of course, the International Space School.

In the afternoon, you'll have free time to continue visiting Baikonur.

Day 4: Baikonur

And the awaited day has finally arrived! After breakfast, we'll participate in the pre-launch conference given by the cosmonauts. Then, we'll move to the observation platform from where the rocket will be launched. Are you ready for this unique experience? You'll be able to see with your own eyes how the rocket takes off and disappears into the sky to leave the Earth. It'll be amazing!

After the launch, we'll visit an old missile control bunker – the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable day!

Day 5: Baikonur - Kyzylorda

On the last day, we'll pickup our luggage and leave the city of Baikonur to take you back to Kyzylorda Airport, where we'll end the tour.

Lodging

This tour includes four nights' accommodation in a single room in a 3-star hotel with all meals included. The two possible options are the 7 Vetrov or the Molniya.

Changes in the itinerary

The order of the visits will depend on the scheduled time of the rocket launch, which can be changed by the decision of the ROSCOSMOS authorities. It could vary in the following ways:

• If the change is known before the start of the tour, the tour dates may be changed.
• If the change occurs during the tour, the tour program will be modified.
• If the launch is canceled during the tour, the experience will be replaced by another tour by arrangement with the client.

Generally, the launch date is not usually changed less than 30 days in advance.
