Teide National Park is the largest in the Canary Islands, boasting a wonderful diversity of plants and wildlife.

What to see

The national park has various viewpoints of the volcano, with some of the most famous being Chipeque and La Tarta.

We also recommend visiting Roques de García, with its incredible rock formations formed millions of years ago. From here, you can see the Llano de Ucanca, a plain with a truly other-worldly appearance.

How to visit Mount Teide

You can travel to Mount Teide by car or public transport. Alternatively, you can see it as part of an excursion with Civitatis.

Tickets to the Teide cable car

If you want to climb the peak of Teide, we recommend booking a ticket for the cable car. From its top station, it's only possible to walk to the summit by requesting an official permit from the Government of the Canary Islands.
