Gjábakkahellir Cave Tour
At your chosen time, we'll meet at The Cave People. Once we've all arrived, we'll drive away from Laugarvatn in a jeep towards Gjábakkahellir Cave, which is located in the middle of Thingvellir National Park.
When we arrive, we'll get kitted out with our helmets and torches and step inside the lava tunnel created almost 10,000 years ago by natural causes. Let's walk, crawl and climb through a volcanic cave!
During the tour, you'll discover the different rock formations that have been created by flowing lava, as well as layers of rocks rich in minerals.
After 2 hours of adventure, we'll finish our tour and return to the starting point.
