Reserva Natura Park Day Trip
Description
Early in the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Leticia to head towards the north of the country. After a journey of approximately 50 kilometres (31 miles), you'll arrive at Reserva Natura Park, a place where you'll discover one of the wildest and most exuberant areas of Colombia.
Once there, we'll begin our adventure through the lush trails of the Amazon jungle. In fact, we'll have the opportunity to go on an ecological hike, where we'll get to know one of the most famous plant species of the region: the Ceiba, the tallest tree in the Amazon. You'll be impressed!
We'll also see giant water lilies, which grow in the waters of the world's largest river. Of course, we'll also have the unique experience of bathing in blue clay. What properties does it have? We'll find out!
Have you heard of huito? During our tour, we'll enjoy a workshop on tattoos made with this typical plant from the northern regions of South America. If you want, you can even get a tattoo! Did you know that the natives use it to ward off insects? Let's see if you dare to prove that it works!
During the excursion, we'll offer you coffee and fruit from the region so that you can enjoy something typical of the area. When we've finished our tour of the reserve, we'll return to the bus to go back to Leticia after 12 hours of fun!
