Pantanos de Villa Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Lima and head south to the capital. After approximately 45 minutes, we'll reach the famous Pantanos de Villa, an ecological oasis located surprisingly close to the city.
Upon arrival, we'll begin to explore this natural sanctuary, home to more than 170 species of native and migratory birds. During the trip, you'll visit various lagoons connected with the hydrological system of the Rímac River and learn about the biodiversity that makes this site a haven for local fauna and flora. Did you know reptiles, fish, and aquatic insects also inhabit this site? You'll be amazed by the rich ecosystem!
As we advance, you'll become a true birdwatcher. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see up close some unique species and admire their behavior in nature. Plus, you'll discover the vital role that the reeds and other plants of the marshes play in this special habitat.
We'll conclude our visit by reaching a beach and lagoon area, where you can relax and enjoy the serene environment. It'll be the perfect way to end the day trip!
After the experience, we'll begin our return to Lima and drop you off at your hotel 3.5 hours after pickup.
