TLDR: fun & relaxing, but be mindful of the season! We went in early March and it was a bit cold, but still very fun. Our drive (Sandro) and guide (Hilton) were both fantastic, kind, and knowledgeable. We couldn’t visit the Benagil caves because of the weather & high tides, but we got extra time in Portimão and Albufeira instead. The Lagos boat tour (€25 per person) was super fun, but it is a small boat (beware of seasickness). Also beware that some places will only be open in the summer!
